Anyone who has ever put their ear to a conch shell believes he hears the sea.
No matter if someone may say it is not the sea actually... you hear it.
It is as real the sea, as the sun hot.
It is unexplainable. The waves moving and crashing within the shell. But you listen.
And if you listen, you can hear it.
Anyone who has ever heard, felt, smelled, saw or touched a sign, or has had a vibrantly real dream about someone they deeply love that has passed away, then they understand the belief in the conch shell very well.
Problem is, we can be blessed with the knowledge and belief that life goes on, life continues
after this but the next day... we can be back to the doubt, and the disbelief.
We are human. We need constant reassuring and reminding.
We won't always be blessed constantly. It doesn't and can't work that way. But it doesn't make it less true.
Wherever you are right now, and whoever it is you have lost, try a little harder.
Try harder to listen, and you will hear the sea calling. Always constant, always unchanging.
As I struggle to remember to listen too - I am so guilty of needing one more reassurance, I try think of the conch shell.
I know when I am supposed to receive, I will. When I truly need, my beloved will come to me again.
Do you think that death conquers love?? Is love so little a thing!?
Do not despair. They are there. They always will be. Listen....
